Walrus and the Carpenter are an Australian modern folk band from Mullumbimby, NSW.
The project is the vehicle for the unique song-writing and vocal talents of Matthew Engerer, and a creative collaboration with Mat Akehurst (Drums/Percussion/Vocals). More recently their sonic evolution has included Maria Stratton (Violin, Mandolin, Keys, Vocals) and Al Brooker (Double Bass)...Enjoy!
